About The Position

Mendota Heights White Pine Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to work weekends from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and be on call. The pay range is $18.00-$21.00 DOQ. This role reports to the Housing Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
Ability to instruct caregivers on proper sanitary regulations
Ability to instruct caregivers on setting tables, serving residents, clearing dishes, loading, and running dishwasher
Ability to stay within set budget on all food orders and purchases
Ability to meet with residents periodically to assess food preferences
Ability to prepare and track guest meals
Ability to communicate detailed instructions to staff for evening and weekend meals and baking
Ability to interact with residents and observe food and liquid intake
Ability to work with House Manager on food preparation/service for special events
Ability to maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly menu
Assist House Manager with food orders
Organize, clean, and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
Prepare three daily meals as well as snacks for residents
Maintain knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
Instructs care givers on proper sanitary regulations
Instructs care givers on setting tables, serving residents, clearing dishes, loading, and running dishwasher
Stays within set budget on all food orders and purchases
Meet with residents periodically to assess food preferences
