About The Position
Comforts of Home Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide-PM to join their team at River Falls CBRF II. This role involves preparing meals, managing food orders, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring residents' dietary needs and preferences are met. The position also includes instructing caregivers on food service and sanitation, managing budgets, and interacting with residents to assess their food preferences.
Requirements
- Knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
- Ability to stay within set budget on all food orders and purchases
- Ability to communicate detailed instructions to staff
- Ability to interact with residents and observe food and liquid intake
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly menu
- Assist House Manager with food orders
- Organize, clean, and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
- Prepare three daily meals as well as snacks for residents
- Maintain knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
- Instructs care givers on proper sanitary regulations
- Instructs care givers on setting tables, serving residents, clearing dishes, loading, and running dishwasher
- Stays within set budget on all food orders and purchases
- Meet with residents periodically to assess food preferences
- Prepare and track guest meals
- Communicate detailed instructions to staff for evening and weekend meals and baking
- Interact with residents and observe food and liquid intake
- Work with House Manager on food preparation/service for special events
- Maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information.
