About The Position

The Dietary Aide position, in collaboration with the Charge Nurse and other team members, ensures residents are served according to their plan of care. This role assists each resident to achieve and maintain the highest level of health and physical condition. Responsibilities include using kitchen equipment, serving drinks and meals, and dishwashing. The Dietary Aide must be able to work independently and be flexible in completing various duties as assigned. Cooking experience is preferred, or the candidate must be willing to learn. Dependability, trustworthiness, and a positive attitude are essential.

Requirements

  • 14 years of age or older.
  • Must be dependable and trustworthy.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Must have covid vaccine or exemption.

Nice To Haves

  • Cooking experience preferred or willing to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and other team members to serve residents according to their plan of care.
  • Assist residents to achieve and maintain their highest level of health and physical condition.
  • Use kitchen equipment such as a meat grinder/slicer.
  • Serve drinks and meals to residents.
  • Perform dishwashing duties.
  • Complete various assigned duties flexibly and independently.
