Performs a variety of duties within a food service operation such as portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee and toast, and washing dishes and utensils. About Adanac Park Lodge (APL): Adanac Park Lodge (APL) is a regional Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Long Term Care (LTC) program specializing in providing care to younger adults (19-65 years) with complex health and behavioral needs. APL’s unique population of focus is younger adults who have concurrent Mental Health, Substance Use and/or Acquired Brain Injury; and who often have co-existing physical, developmental and/or chronic health conditions. Clients who may be considered for admission are between19 and 65 year of age. Residents may reside at APL for as long as they require the specialized services / environment to meet their care needs, up to an including end of life care. APL has a diverse inter-disciplinary team who collaborate with residents and families in their care and on meaningful goals and engagement. In accordance with the vision and values of the organization, APL’s approaches & principles include; Person Centered Care; Trauma Informed Care; Recovery in MH; and Community Engagement.
