About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring patients receive accurate meals according to their dietary needs and providing excellent customer service. The position involves preparing food items, managing patient menus, and adhering to health and safety policies. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with rotating shifts (day, evening, night). A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility are required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
  • Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service for all patients
  • Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
  • Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
  • Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
