Dietary Aide at Senior Care Center
About The Position
Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join their team. This role involves assisting the chef/cook in plating and serving breakfast, prepping food for other meals, and washing and sanitizing dishes within the Oasis kitchen, which serves skilled nursing and memory care residents. The position requires high attention to detail due to important dietary orders and restrictions, despite being a low-volume kitchen. The dietary aide is expected to adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Success in this role requires being detail-oriented, acting professionally, communicating effectively with colleagues, and having an enjoyment for the food service industry.
Requirements
- Able to pass a fingerprinted criminal background check (no prior convictions).
- Able to pass a health screening, TB test, and drug test.
- Able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Able to work on feet.
- Able to bend, stretch, pull, push, etc. as needed for kitchen tasks.
- Maintain great punctuality and attendance.
- Available to work on holidays.
- Able to comprehend English language sufficient for understanding written information such as labels & instructions and spoken communication from supervisor and co-workers.
Responsibilities
