About The Position

At Franciscan Village in Lemont, the Dietary Aide/Server assists with dietary functions as directed by the Dining Services management team. The part-time position is scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of dining services experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and set tables in dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, including vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus the dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including updates.
