About The Position

This is a PRN/Casual status position, working 0-19 hours per week with no guarantee of hours and flexible scheduling. It is a non-benefited position. The primary role is to prepare dining rooms for mealtime, deliver resident meals, clear and wash dishes, maintain cleanliness of dining rooms, and assist the cook as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining rooms for meal time, makes tea, sets out juices, sets tables, etc.
• Serves meals to residents and guests as directed by cook, using correct serving procedures.
• Removes dirty dishes from dining rooms, washes and sanitizes them and puts them away where they belong.
• Assists cook as necessary and as time allows.
• Performs daily and weekly cleaning tasks per schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Dietary Manager or Administrator.
