As a Dietary Aide in this role, you will support the Patient Food Services area and ensure the patients have clean dishes to eat off of, so they can heal and return home. A caregiver in this position works evenings from 2:00PM – 8:30PM or days from 7:00AM – 1:30PM.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Six months of experience in food service

Nice To Haves

Previous dishwashing experience

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of duties to ensure proper distribution of prepared foods to patients, cafeteria guests and catered events.
Accurately set up and deliver patient trays and nourishments.
Distribute correct portions of food and beverage items.
Demonstrate working knowledge of specific therapeutic diets.
Follow department standards and procedures.
Utilize and rotate food products, appropriately store leftovers and label and date food items.
