About The Position
Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation is hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide! This role is crucial in helping the dietary team provide quality meals and excellent service to residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, and eager to contribute to a caring team, making mealtime a positive experience for seniors.
Requirements
- Understanding of safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community.
- Willingness to work for the best interest of the residents and facility.
- Ability to work as part of a team and partner with other departments.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Some Dietary experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food items following recipes and menus.
- Assist with meal set up and delivery.
- Put away stock on delivery days.
- Wash and store all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
- Sweep and mop floors and perform other assigned special cleaning duties.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights and privacy are protected at all times.
- Ensure the dietary work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
