BeeHive Homes of Broken Arrow is seeking a dependable, compassionate Cook to join our team in our family-style assisted living and memory care community. If you enjoy preparing home-cooked meals and making a positive difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to meet you!
Requirements
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Food Handler Permit required (or ability to obtain before employment).
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Enjoy working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cooking experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals for residents.
- Follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure food is prepared safely and served on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Work closely with staff to accommodate residents' dietary needs.
- Follow all health department and food safety regulations.
