Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.
- Knowledge of computer operations preferred.
- Food Handler Safety Training Card.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
- Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate recording of patient diets in patient Kardex and the updating of changes as necessary to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.
