About The Position

American Fleet Service is seeking all levels of Diesel Truck Technicians with diagnostic experience. This role offers an opportunity for technicians to have control over their income and career in a supportive and friendly work environment. The company services all makes and models of trucks and trailers and is a well-established, independent diesel truck shop in Tidewater Virginia with state-of-the-art technology and tech support.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Your own tools.

Nice To Haves

• CDL License.
• State Inspection License.
• ASE Certifications.
• EPA609 A/C Certification.
• Technical School Training.

Responsibilities

• Engine repairs, valve adjustments, fuel injector replacements, overhauls.
• Transmission and driveline repairs including clutches, PTO's, U-joints, overhauls, and differentials.
• Electrical diagnostics, computer diagnostics, wire by wire analysis.
• Trailer repairs including lighting, suspension, brakes, and doors.
• HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and charging.
• Minor to medium weld repairs.
• Federal DOT Inspections.
