About The Position

Join Lincoln Tech in partnership with NJ Transit to train their workforce in heavy-duty diesel and electronic systems. This dynamic, mobile role involves traveling across NJ Transit facilities in New Jersey to work with their employees, delivering curriculum through hands-on instruction in classrooms, workshops, and live work settings. You will teach diagnostic thinking using advanced diagnostic software and tools, and help shape curriculum that meets the demands of NJ Transit’s fleet operations. This is an opportunity to step into teaching and influence the development of their workforce.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in diagnostic and repair of: Heavy-duty diesel engines and drivetrain, Electrical and electronic control systems, Brake systems
• Ability to explain complex repairs clearly and confidently.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Experience with apprenticeship or workforce development programs is a bonus.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus but not required.
