Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain a toolbox and the required tools.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications (Brakes, Suspension, PMs) for incentive pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APUs.
• Conduct brake replacements, suspension repairs, and DOT/FHWA inspections.
• Diagnose electrical systems and perform ABS brake system repairs.
• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and flat repairs.
• Complete structural repairs on trailers and rear door replacements.
• Troubleshoot APUs and provide road service calls.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Service company vehicles.
• Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and other tools.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
