About The Position
The Applied Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Diesel Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Responsible for teaching each coursework in the NATEF Diesel Technology Program. Duties include interaction with the diesel repair and trucking industries.
Requirements
- 8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journeyworker status.
- OR 4 years full-time related occupational experience and an Associate’s degree in career field.
- OR 2 years full-time related occupational experience and a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline.
- A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
- Hiring process includes passing a background check.
