Requirements

Hands-on experience working on diesel engines or commercial trucks
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High School Diploma and/or GED
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B, within six (6) months of employment, as required for the position.
Employees must also maintain any required endorsements, certifications, and qualifications necessary to safely and legally operate company vehicles.
Ability to utilize computer systems and electronic applications for recordkeeping, communication, scheduling, and other job-related functions

Nice To Haves

4+ years of related experience and/or training preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
Completing repairs ranging from minor fixes to major overhauls
Disassembling and reassembling components accurately and efficiently
Documenting work with clear, detailed service notes
Utilize computer-based diagnostic systems, manufacturer software, and electronic tools to troubleshoot, diagnose, document, and repair diesel-powered equipment.
Performing other duties as assigned
