About The Position

Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy truck dealership to find skilled Diesel Technicians for their growing team in Bristol, PA. This role involves performing truck repair and maintenance, including diagnostics, in accordance with factory and industry standards. The company offers training at the closest location (Swedesboro, NJ, or Coopersburg, PA) and provides mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate of 65.5 cents per mile.

Requirements

• Positive attitude
• Must communicate effectively with managerial staff.
• Must work well individually and as part of a larger team.
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, pull, and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout up to a twelve-hour shift.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair required.
• Ability to climb in and out of Class 8 vehicles, Cranes, Garbage trucks, Cement Mixers, and other vocational equipment.
• Must possess a high school diploma /GED.
• Vocational or technical certification required.
• Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years shop experience preferred.
• CAT/Cummins/Detroit/Paccar experience/certifications preferred.
• A valid CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including diagnostics.
• Keep bay area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy.
