About The Position
DATTCO currently has a full-time Diesel Technician opening at our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance location in Watertown, CT. DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. We entered the motorcoach charter business in 1964 with the New York World�s Fair. DATTCO is now New England�s largest private passenger transportation company. Requirements
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
- 5+ years training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
- Driver�s license and DOT medical card
- Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license
- Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
- Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
- Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
Responsibilities
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
- Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
- Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
- Makes road calls
- Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor
