Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE certification
- DOT certification
- Knowledge of compliance requirements
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience OR technical school training
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Provide own tools

- CDL preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel and gas vehicles.
- Handling electrical and mechanical work.
- Installing parts.
- Solving problems on the spot.
- Driving a mobile van to breakdown sites.
- Coordinating with the service writer.
- Logging completed work.
- Keeping tools and van ready for the next call.
