About The Position
DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician for our Saugus, MA location. DeVivo Companies provides comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions across the Northeast. Our services include fleet maintenance and repair, bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipment, and a Parts & Tools operation. We have twelve locations, OEM partnerships, factory-trained technicians, and extensive parts inventories to offer complete lifecycle support. Our commitment is to long-term customer success.
Requirements
- High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
- Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
- Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy duty vehicles
- Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls as required
