Maintains, diagnoses and repairs commercial vehicles and related equipment.

• Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer Highschool or GED PLUS additional education in a specialized field (vocational trade school, two-year college, etc.), plus 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer two years on the job training/experience and diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school.

Responsibilities

• Successfully repair equipment as assigned, controlling down time.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT).
• Follows established maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Accurately complete all required forms.
• Enter repair orders accurately in the computer.
• Is dependable and available for work when needed.
• Contributes to the team effort by recommending improved processes.
• Works well with others within the department and company.
• Contributes to department goals by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending and participate in appropriate training.
• Ensures company confidentiality.
