About The Position

Ford of Spartanburg, part of the Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their award-winning service team. This role offers a high earning potential, with opportunities to earn between $100,000 and $160,000+ annually, including a sign-on bonus, production bonuses, and an annual retention bonus. The position features a 5-day work week with only one Saturday per month, and PTO begins accruing on Day One. Requirements

3 to 5 years of automotive diesel technician experience
Strong diesel diagnostic and repair skills
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment testing

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles
Identify and resolve engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC concerns
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools
Complete repairs efficiently and according to manufacturer standards
Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and timelines
Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
Participate in ongoing factory and dealership training programs
Document repairs accurately and thoroughly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
