About The Position

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Diesel Technician for our Buffalo, NY location. DeVivo Companies provides comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions across the Northeast. Our services include fleet maintenance and repair, bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipment, and a Parts & Tools operation. We have twelve locations, OEM partnerships, factory-trained technicians, and extensive parts inventories to support the full lifecycle of vehicles and equipment. Our focus is on long-term customer success. This position offers a compensation of $20.00-$54.00/hour and a schedule of Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
Proficient with computer operation/usage
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehicles
Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
Follow established technical & administrative processes
Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
Perform road service calls as required
