About The Position

Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics and Trailer Technicians to maintain commercial trucks, trailers, and refrigerated equipment. Available Shifts: Sunday–Wednesday (3:00 AM – 1:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM) and Thursday–Saturday (4:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM). Earn an additional $2.00/hour for overnight shifts and the 3:00 AM start.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of diesel, trailer, or transport refrigeration experience
• DOT inspection and air brake experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Own or obtain a toolbox and required tools
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, reefers, and APUs
• Complete brake, suspension, and DOT/FHWA inspections
• Diagnose electrical and ABS brake systems
• Perform tire service and trailer repairs
• Troubleshoot APUs and complete road service calls
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and shop equipment
