About The Position
Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers from across the country to improve their travel experience. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance, and assisting customers with roadside services. Technicians follow company safety policies and procedures and prioritize customer safety and satisfaction. The schedule rotates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds or more while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; the cost is paid by Love’s.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, which may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Provide preventative maintenance services.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
