About The Position

Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in (Wichita, KS). Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop, Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools, Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles, Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products, Maintain own tools.

Requirements

Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics
Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.
Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.
Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.
Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements.
This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
