About The Position

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics and Trailer Technicians to support fleet maintenance and refrigerated transport operations in Mebane, NC. They offer flexible 3 or 4-day schedules, premium pay, and strong benefits. Available Schedules include Sunday-Wednesday and Thursday-Saturday, with additional pay for overnight and early morning shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year diesel, trailer, or refrigeration experience
• DOT inspections & air brakes required
• Valid driver’s license
• Obtain toolbox and the required tools
• Strong work ethic and team-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification incentive pay (Brakes, Suspension, PMs)

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, reefers, and APUs
• Brake, suspension, and DOT/FHWA inspections
• Diagnose electrical systems and ABS brakes
• Tire services (mount, dismount, balance, flat repairs)
• Trailer structural repairs, rear doors, and washouts
• Troubleshoot APUs and assist with road service calls
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and shop equipment
