About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a family-run dealership, we pride ourselves on our supportive work environment and our commitment to customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are not only proficient in diagnosing and repairing Class 8 trucks but also possess a strong sense of dedication to helping our customers get back on the road. Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel technician in a dealership, fleet, or independent shop.
- Ability to diagnose independently and complete repairs from start to finish.
- Valid driver's license.
- Possession of personal hand tools.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software.
Nice To Haves
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- ASE and/or OEM certifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and equipment, including engine, aftertreatment, electrical, drivetrain, HVAC, and brakes.
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic software for efficient troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Accurately document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.
- Mentor newer technicians and contribute to the development of the team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay and shop environment.
