About The Position
All Star Ford of Denham Springs, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Diesel Technicians to join their award-winning, high-volume service team. Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1948, is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business with over 60 dealerships and more than 4,500 employees throughout 8 states concentrated in the Southeast.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
- Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
- All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturer experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
