Alliance Used Truck Center, a division of Freightliner of Hartford, is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their team in Hartford. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines and emissions/after-treatment systems.
• Must possess a personal inventory of tools required for the trade.
• A desire for continuous learning and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to move trucks around in the parking lot and pull trucks into the repair bay.

Nice To Haves

• CDL is not a requirement, but it certainly is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and complex after-treatment devices.
• Maintain a general understanding of all heavy-duty truck systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
• Collaborate with management to suggest improvements to shop workflow and business operations.
