About The Position
Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking experienced Truck and Trailer Technicians / Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team. VVG represents a premium commercial brand in medium to heavy truck dealerships, offering a full-service experience from sales to skilled technicians and parts. They aim to be a one-stop shop for truckers, owner operators, fleets, and companies, positioning themselves as the premier truck dealership with their Leasing and Rental business and financial services division. This role involves diagnosing truck problems, performing repairs, creating repair plans, requisitioning parts, tagging warranty parts, and turning in parts with core value. Technicians are expected to communicate daily updates to their Foreman, maintain organized toolboxes, and keep workstations clean and safe. The position requires efficiency ratings of 85% or above and proficiency in various diagnostic and repair tasks.
