About The Position

N C Power Systems is seeking a Marine Technician to diagnose and repair CAT equipment across multiple projects. The role involves removing, repairing, assembling, and installing CAT equipment, coordinating with the Parts department to order necessary parts, and planning and organizing work to help control job costs. The position requires physical activity throughout the workday, including standing for at least eight hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. A basic tool set and a valid driver’s license are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• A degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to stand for at least eight hours per day and perform activities including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a basic tool set.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAT engines, marine or generator.
