About The Position

DeVivo Companies is seeking full-time Diesel Technicians for all shifts at our Buffalo, NY location. DeVivo Companies provides comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions across the Northeast, with a history spanning over a century. Our services include fleet maintenance and repair, sales and service for school and commercial buses, truck and trailer equipment (towing, refrigerated transport, yard trucks, specialty vehicle builds), and a Parts & Tools operation. We operate twelve locations, maintain OEM partnerships, employ factory-trained technicians, and hold extensive parts inventories to offer complete lifecycle support for vehicles and equipment. Our focus is on long-term customer success.

Requirements

High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
Proficient with computer operation/usage
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehicles
Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
Follow established technical & administrative processes
Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
Perform road service calls as required
