DIESEL TECHNICIAN
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Service Diesel Technician to join our team. This role offers competitive compensation, including up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience, and six paychecks a month when a bi-weekly bonus is included. As a Service Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. You will collaborate closely with our team of mechanics to ensure that all vehicles operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise in diesel engines is essential for keeping our fleet in top condition. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly bonus and comprehensive benefits packages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a diesel technician training program
- At least 2 years of experience as a diesel technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with computer diagnostic tools
- Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and safe operation of our fleet
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques
