About The Position
All Star Ford of Prairieville is actively seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to join their award-winning, high-volume service team in a newly renovated Diesel/HD Truck Shop. Hudson Automotive Group, a third-generation, family-owned business founded in 1948, has grown into a multi-state, multi-franchise organization with over 60 dealerships and more than 4,500 employees. They are committed to serving customers with all their automotive needs.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience
- Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
- All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturer experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
