About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Diesel Technician/Mechanic in Seattle, Washington, to perform maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, inspecting vehicles for safety and compliance, documenting repairs, and supporting fleet operations. Technicians work in a mobile and/or shop environment that may expose them to dust, diesel fumes, noise, oils, and greases. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, either 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $40.00–$52.00 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay.

Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role.

Responsibilities
