Requirements
- Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred however our dealer family has opportunities for many skill sets.
- Bring your strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first to Team GTC!
- Mechanics frequently lift up to 75 pounds and must have a full complement of tools.
Responsibilities
- Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
- Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
- Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
- Develop technical skills through training opportunities
- Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
