About The Position
Campbell Supply, the largest Freightliner dealership in the Tri-State Area, is seeking an Entry-Level Diesel Technician / Mechanic. This family-owned dealership, with a legacy dating back to 1967 and seven locations, is a cornerstone in the commercial and emergency vehicle industries. Requirements
- Recent graduates of diesel mechanic, heavy equipment, or related technical programs are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience through trade school, internships, apprenticeships, military trainings, or personal projects is welcomed.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and drivers, demonstrating teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using company-supplied laptops and OEM software while following proper warranty procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on all components as well as preventative maintenance and reconditioning.
- Demonstrate well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Attend OEM and dealer training online as well as in-person when required.
