About The Position

Bobcat of North Texas is a full service Bobcat Dealership in Lewisville, TX. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. Bobcat of the North Texas offers parts as well as both mobile and shop service, and a full line of concrete supplies. Bobcat of Lewisville is looking for a diesel mechanic! If you are a confident tech who enjoys the challenge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic work, apply today! We offer an air-conditioned shop, Monday-Friday day shift hours, starting at $27/hour, depending on experience plus a quarterly bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.

Nice To Haves

2 year technical school graduate preferred.
3-5 years preferred.
Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
