Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and drivers, demonstrating teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program.
Nice To Haves
- Formal training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 3-7 vehicles is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using company-supplied laptops and OEM software while following proper warranty procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on all components as well as preventative maintenance and reconditioning.
- Demonstrate well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Attend OEM and dealer training online as well as in-person when required.
