Vermeer All Roads in Castleton on Hudson, NY is searching for an experienced diesel technician to work on a variety of heavy equipment (skids, trommels, trenchers, vac trucks...). Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding experience required
• Ability to travel within assigned territory for field service
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Nice To Haves

• Experience with skids, trommels, trenchers, and vac trucks

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics and electrical systems)
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
• Stay up to date on industry and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned
