About The Position
Automotive Diesel Technician Trainee/Apprentice needed to join our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships with 10 brands at 11 location in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Previous experience with diesel repair or diesel schooling/training preferred. Some diesel knowledge is required. All diesel repair backgrounds considered. Requirements
- Must be able to work Monday - Saturday (Up to 6 days a week)
- Diesel knowledge and desire to grow in the diesel repair field
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with diesel repair or diesel schooling/training
- Automotive Schooling and/or ASE Certifications preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine diesel maintenance and repair
- Perform vehicle inspection and note vehicle maintenance and repair concerns
- Complete required manufacturer training to become certified GM diesel technician
