About The Position

This individual will be responsible for the effective diagnosis and repair of engine components, including small engines, diesel, and gas engines for lawn mowers, and hand-held equipment. Work must be completed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner. Will perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on equipment. Work must be completed at high levels of quality and safety. Daily duties will include some customer contact, diagnosing, troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, and making repairs.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Have and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to work a varying work schedule/shift and be flexible to respond to after-hour calls
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent oral communication and written skills
• Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a mechanic working on small engines, diesel, and gas engines, and small hand-held components.
