About The Position
Olive Recruiting is looking for a Diesel Technician to join our clients team in Dallas, TX. This role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and servicing of customer fleet consisting of 70% gas and 30% diesel engines. This is a Direct Hire role.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Minimum of 2 years as an automotive mechanic
- Must have basic tool set (wrenches, sockets in metric and standard, impacts, filter wrench)
Nice To Haves
- Diesel experience preferred
- Desired ability to diagnose
- Ability to work independently doing routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, etc)
- Diagnostic experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Running diagnostic tests on vehicles and analyze test results
- Analyzing diagnostic test results
- Performing preventative and general maintenance on vehicles
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
- Maintaining a parts inventory
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop
