About The Position
American Stone is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair quarry equipment and fleet vehicles. No es necesario hablar bien el inglés. Pay: $19 to $24 per hour. You will be responsible for inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel systems while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with diesel engines or heavy equipment
- Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy objects
- Ability to pass drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience with heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, trucks)
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Technical certification in diesel mechanics
- English proficiency is not required
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Work on hydraulic systems, brakes, suspension, and transmissions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues in the field when needed
