About The Position
Martin Transportation Systems is growing and seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift. This role offers an excellent benefits package and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Class 8 diagnostic tools and be able to perform general maintenance, repairs, and services on Freightliner Tractors and trailers. Light computer work is also part of the responsibilities. This position requires the mechanic to have their own basic tools, with reimbursement available for boots and tools.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working on all makes and models of Class 8 trucks.
- Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools.
- Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
- Must have own basic tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
- Perform general maintenance on a fleet of recent model Freightliner Tractors.
- Perform trailer repairs, services, and welding.
- Perform light computer work.
