About The Position

FleetPride is looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join their Pawtucket, RI service center. This role offers the opportunity to mentor less-experienced technicians, tackle challenging repairs, and serve as a technical resource for the team. The technician will also have the opportunity to assist with Mobile Service calls when needed. Requirements

• 3+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability and willingness to mentor other technicians.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to lead by example.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to assist with Mobile Service when needed.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• CDL is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy-duty diesel repair.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians.
• Serve as a technical resource for the team.
• Assist with Mobile Service calls when needed.
• Perform aftertreatment diagnostics & repairs.
• Perform engine diagnostics, repairs & rebuilds.
• Repair transmissions & clutches.
• Perform advanced electrical diagnostics & read schematics.
• Repair air brakes & air systems.
• Perform steering, suspension & alignment services.
• Repair drivetrain & differentials.
• Service cooling systems & A/C.
• Perform PM services & DOT inspections.
• Conduct mobile service & roadside repairs.
