Diesel Mechanic
About The Position
NRT Bus, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This role involves assessing vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues. The mechanic will liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preparing quotes and work estimates, keeping accurate logs of all work performed, and maintaining garage equipment and tools. Adherence to company safety policies is essential. This is a Monday to Friday position, 7 am to 4 pm.
Requirements
- One (1) year of mechanic experience.
- High school diploma.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
- Liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
- Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
- Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
- Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
- Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Adhere to company work safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
