About The Position
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated 2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic to support our McKinney fleet operations. In this essential role, you'll keep our garbage trucks running smoothly by performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs—including work on hydraulics, electrical systems, and minor engine issues.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in diesel or heavy truck maintenance
Nice To Haves
- Certifications: ASE certification preferred
- Licensing: Class A or B CDL is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
- Complete minor engine repairs and parts replacement
- Keep accurate service records and ensure safety compliance
